Kathryn Eisman is a multi-Emmy Award Nominated television journalist, speaker, bestselling author, fashion profiler, creator and host of television series Undressed with Kathryn Eisman, entrepreneur and founder of High Heel Jungle.

After more than a decade working at the pinnacle of television in the USA, Kathryn returned to Australia to co-create co-EP and star in "Undressed with Kathryn Eisman" a premium television series produced in conjunction with Bruna Papandrea's Made Up Stories, airing on Paramount + and in six countries around the globe.  

 

Hailing from Sydney, Kathryn completed a degree in Communications and Journalism at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).  

 

In 2002, immediately upon graduating, Kathryn headed to New York, where she joined NBC’s TODAY Show in New York as the chief features reporter and presenter for the number one rating breakfast news show in the number one market in the world.  

 

The role made her the youngest on-air reporter in NBC history responsible for pitching, producing, writing and presenting all her stories live on location and in studio behind the desk covering breaking news, human-interest stories ranging from poverty to human trafficking to identifying and covering new social and cultural trends in the world of fashion and entertainment.  

 

Kathryn was made the sole host of their top rating prime time Saturday night entertainment show, BTS: Made In NY on NBC.  

 

Kathryn then moved to Los Angeles to head fashion and lifestyle coverage for E! News at Comcast NBC Universal, where she received two Emmy Award Nominations for work, interviewing and producing the world's most recognized personalities.  She was then handpicked by Tyra Banks to help launch FabLife on ABC alongside Chrissy Teigan and Joe Zee. covering business, fashion and lifestyle topics for the nationally syndicated Network show. 

 

Kathryn also worked as the LA Correspondent for Sunrise and The Morning Show on Seven for seven years, covering US based cultural and entertainment stories and hosting exclusive interviews with the biggest names in pop culture, news and politics. 

 

Away from the camera, Kathryn has authored two international Bestselling books, 'How To Tell a Man By His Shoes' and 'How To Tell a Woman By her Handbag', published in 10 languages and fifteen countries and winning Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Fun Fearless Female of the Year in the Author category.

Kathryn has penned  monthly columns for Men’s Health Magazine (USA), CLEO (Australia) as well as contributed to publications including The New York Times, LA Times, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Treats and SMH.

 

Kathryn is a highly sought after keynote speaker, bringing her passion to the topics of Female Entrepreneurship, Resilience, Personal branding and the Psychology of Fashion, having travelled the glove speaking to over 400,000 people. 

 

A successful entrepreneur, Kathryn is the founder and creative director of High Heel Jungle ,a cult hosiery label regularly featured in pages of Vogue, Elle, AFR, Cosmo and worn by Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker, sold at leading boutiques around the globe including Nordstrom, The Iconic, Free People and Anthropologie.

 

Kathryn is an ambassador and former big sister for SISTER-TO-SISTER, an organization that mentors teenage girls from high-risk backgrounds. She is the mother of two young daughters and is now based in Sydney, Australia.
